Universal Dental Lab was built on a frustration every dentist knows — a lab that is hard to reach, a crown that needs twenty minutes of chairside adjustment, a shade that comes back wrong. It was founded to be the opposite: small enough that the technician making your case answers the phone, and disciplined enough that the case seats the first time. Why we exist
Why Universal Dental Lab was founded
Most labs are good at the restoration and poor at everything around it — the reachability, the consistency, the honesty when something is wrong.
The gap we set out to close was not skill; it was the experience of working with a lab. Cases that surface late on the morning a patient is booked. A shade redone twice. A phone that no one answers when a case is live. Those failures cost a practice far more than the restoration is worth.
So the lab was built the other way round — small enough to stay accountable, disciplined enough to be consistent, and honest enough to call you before milling when the records will not produce a seatable case.

The lab is technician-driven at its core, and digital where digital makes the case better.
The foundation is hand craftsmanship — the judgment a technician brings to a margin, a contact, a layered anterior surface. On top of that we build a modern digital workflow: CAD/CAM design and milling, 3D printing, and intraoral scans straight into production, for accuracy and turnaround a manual workflow cannot match.
