Overview
One Milled Piece, Engineered to the Span
A bridge succeeds or fails at the connectors, and that is where zirconia earns its place in multi-unit work. Milled and sintered as a single piece of high-density material, a zirconia bridge carries posterior load without a metal framework and without porcelain to chip.
We select the grade to fit the span — a higher-strength grade where a longer posterior span puts the connectors under load, a more translucent grade where an anterior case allows it.
-
Monolithic: No layered porcelain to fracture over the pontic — the whole bridge is one continuous restoration.
-
Layered in the esthetic zone: Where a smile-line unit calls for it, we cut back and layer the facial surface for depth.
